We are pleased to announce the creation of our new website The Pop Report, The Source for the Latest in New Pop Music. The new site will apply the same dedication and passion that is The Prog Report to the music of today that is more popular. After watching this year’s Grammy awards we felt the time was right to launch this new chapter.
Roie Avin, editor of the Prog Report says, “Prog just isn’t enough. Few people even care about regular rock music anymore. All the biggest Prog musicians made their best music once they began focusing on pop music. Peter Gabriel, Phil Collins, Steven Wilson. I believe it’s time for The Prog Report to do the same. No other genre today is progressing music forward like pop music. It would be dishonest and dangerous to not cover it”
We have a lot of great things lined up including our first interview with pop legend Cardi B.
How long The Prog Report will remain active has not yet been determined.
