Jethro Tull celebrate their 50th anniversary of their fourth studio album, 1971’s Aqualung.  In honor of the anniversary, the group have released a new animated video for the title track.  The video, directed by Sam Chegini, who directed recent videos for Jakko Jaksyzk, features many images from the songs lyrics, as well as Ian Anderson performing today and an equally graphic depiction of homelessness.

Ian Anderson has also shared that the next Jethro Tull album will be titled The Zealot Gene, the band’s first new album since 2003’s The Jethro Tull Christmas Album.
