The lineup for the second edition of ProgStorm Festival is now fully announced! From August 21 to 23, 2026, fans of pure and uncompromising progressive metal will gather in the “city of metal excellence”, Montréal, to experience three days of progressive metal featuring 18 bands in a single weekend, all taking place at the iconic downtown venue Club Soda. Headliners Cynic, Car Bomb and Pure Reason Revolution will be joined by Vulkan, Anciients, Wilderun, Greylotus, An Abstract Illusion, Dawn of Ouroboros, Aeternam, Exist, Nospūn, Fractal Sun, Dessiderium, Heaven’s Cry, Hillward, Chronochromie and Sky Passage.

With the presence of progressive metal luminaries Cynic (USA), the return to Montreal after 15 years of absence of math metal pioneers Car Bomb (USA), the long awaited return of world class Pure Reason Revolution (UK) to the North American continent after 20 years, the North American premieres of Swedish bands Vulkan and An Abstract Illusion, the Canadian premieres of Nospūn (USA) and Fractal Sun (Costa Rica), the presence of two time Juno Award winners Anciients (CAN), and rare Montreal appearances from every band on the lineup, all the elements are in place for an unforgettable weekend of 100% progressive metal.
