US prog rock group Advent Horizon share performance video for “Water”

US Prog Rock Group Advent Horizon released their album ‘A Cell to Call Home’ in 2023 and are now pleased to announce a series of live performances. In advance of the shows, the band are releasing a series of live in-studio performances of tracks from the album.

“Over the past 6 months, we have been overwhelmed and honored by the number of fans who have asked if we will be playing in Europe, South America, Central America etc. anytime soon. We very much hope that we can make it outside of the USA in the very near future, but in the meantime, we figured we should at least put together some live videos to give everyone a taste of what our upcoming live shows will look/sound like. We hope our fans will accept this humble token of our appreciation to them, and help us spread the word about our music so that we can get out to see them in person soon!

To produce these videos, we enlisted the help of our good friends Preston Lange, who filmed our music video for “Water” last year and Zach Boorman, who is a master audio engineer with an excellent studio space in Provo UT. We ended up filming 4 songs – “How did it get so good?”, “Water”, “Truth” and “Calling it off”. Each song was given 3 “takes”, and we picked the “best” to use as the final product. Preston edited the 5 camera angles down to a “final edit” and Zach edited/mixed/mastered the audio for us.”

“‘A Cell to Call Home’ is a brilliant showcase of great melodies, solid song construction, and production, all coming together to make something special. Make sure to check this one out, and then use you cell to call and tell people about it! It will certainly find a way to the top of many Best of 2023 album lists.” – The Prog Report Review

  • I really like this live version of this song. This mix has brought out the vocals and drums so much nicer than the studio album did. Cheers to Zach B for giving us the sound that this song deserves.
