The Fringe – Cruise to the Edge 2017 Artist Feature #3

Nick D’Virgilio, Jonas Reingold, and Randy McStine are well known and accomplished names in the Prog community; Nick formerly of Spock’s Beard and currently a member of Big Big Train, Jonas a member of The Flower Kings and the man behind Karmakanic, and Randy with his own group Lo-Fi Resistance and a highly versatile session guy who has played with a number of great artists.  When the 3 got together to create The Fringe, the result was one of the surprise albums of 2016 (read our review here).  Their debut album is well-produced, with a Prog meets garage band vibe, incorporating elements of other great trios like The Police and Rush.  The band has only done a handful of shows since releasing the album, so don’t miss this opportunity to see them live on the Cruise.
