Casey McPherson is a singer/songwriter who has his own band called Alpha Rev and is also the lead singer for Prog supergroup Flying Colors, with Mike Portnoy, Dave LaRue, Neal Morse and Steve Morse. Alpha Rev have released 4 albums including most recently, Bloom in 2013. Flying Colors, meanwhile, have released 2 albums and are getting ready to release live DVD this November called Second Flight. McPherson plays both the guitar and piano, but it is his vocals that have proved integral to their Pop/Prog sound. With both Neal Morse and Mike Portnoy on the cruise, might we hear a few Flying Colors tunes? Let’s hope.
