Steve Hackett, the legendary Genesis guitarist, calls in to talk about his Genesis Revisited project, the album, the tour and also goes deep into how a few of the Genesis classics came about. Great interveiew.Had heard about King Crimson Melotron before but was unsure if it was fact or fiction so Steve has cleared that one up for me.Was fortunate enough too meet Steve & Jo at Bristol in October & asked him of the story of Peter when doing a show in Lisbon when there was civil unrest & the story went that peter had cut power cable after show as most of the crew had fled Steve said this was not so.Steve is a real perfectionist & has recorded & performed live Genesis Revisited 2 & done The Songs great justice.The songs have not aged which is a credit too Genesis The Band,& as Steve said with new technology he has been able to enhance them.Have seen Steve loads of times twice on this tour alone & will be seeing him again at Cardiff next Year,can,t wait.i am looking forward to The New Album next Year & really hope Steve & his Amazing Electric Band will play down here in the West country of the UK.Steve has a terrific fan base here.
