The Prog Report is pleased to premiere a new play-through video from Voyager for their track “Disconnected” from the album Ghost Mile. The band are one of a number of groups across the world finding ways to be creative in this time of lockdown.
The band had this to say about the track:
“Being disconnected from each other over the Covid-19 lockdown has been tough. Some of us actually forgot just how hairy Ash’s face was! So by the power of Australia’s infamous National Broadband Network and the good ol’ spirit of heavy fucking METAL, we bring you a disconnected, yet connected DISCONNECTED…. or something like that.” – Alex
“One of the best things about being in a band is, even when nothing is working, everything is stacked against you, and you’re struggling to keep afloat creatively or financially, you’re in it together with your best friends and they always know how to brighten your day and keep you going, laughing all the way.
“Being disconnected over the course of this pandemic, even to the point where we can’t rehearse (thanks, laggy Australian internet), has been the biggest challenge, because we’ve been apart from each other as musicians and as mates.” – Ashley
