Steve Hackett is about to release Wolflight, his first new studio album since 2011’s Beyond the Shrouded Horizon. Since then Hackett released the highly successful Genesis Revisited II collection and toured for 2 years all over the world playing Genesis classics from when he was with the band. Here the Prog Rock pioneer returns to The Prog Report to discuss his latest album Wolflight, the success of his Genesis Revisited tour and why he feels the 70’s era Genesis holds up better today than the hits era of the 80’s.
