Dream Theater will begin their Parasomnia 2025 US tour in a few weeks on September 5th and it promises to be another extravaganza. The tour is scheduled for 30 cities across the United States and kicks off September 5th in Reading, PA and runs through October 25th where it wraps in Long Island, NY. The band have said they will play the full Parasomnia album, as well as, A Change of Seasons, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of that important song. They have also said that the rest of the show will be songs not played on the last tour. So, what can we expect? We have put together a wish list of some songs we would like to hear on the next tour. What are you hoping for?
“The Glass Prison” from Six Degress of Inner Turbulence is one fans are dying to hear. Considering the band did not play any songs from Six Degress on the 40th Anniversary Tour, there’s a good chance they will play something from this album.
“Erotomania” from Awake would be a great throwback choice. It’s also a song they haven’t played live since 2010.
“In The Name of God”, the big epic from Train of Thought, also hasn’t been played since 2010.
“In the Presence of Enemies” has some great moments for all the members, and considering they played “Constant Motion” and “Dark Eternal Night” on the last tour, this one would be fun to hear again.
“The Root of All Evil” is always a fun rock track that adds a lot of energy into the show.
“Breaking All Illusions” is one of the best tracks from the Mangini era and the band proved they won’t shy away from playing songs from those albums.
“The Dance of Eternity” was surprisingly missing from the anniversary tour, so let’s bring this one back!
