Rewiring Genesis – A Tribute To The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway, a reimagined version of the Genesis classic album from the minds of Nick D’Virgilio and Mark Hornsby, is due out in 2 weeks on Nov 28th, 2025. Originally released in 2008 and out of print for years, this new release celebrates the 50th anniversary of the iconic Genesis album with new parts recorded, including by Genesis guitarist Steve Hackett, and strings recorded at the iconic Abbey Road Studios in London.

Nick D’Virgilio says this about the track:
“’Counting Out Time’ is one of my favorite songs on The Lamb. It’s such a fun track, and the lyrics play a big part in that. The middle section, where we go a little ‘New Orleans,’ was one of those great in-studio moments. As we were recording, one of the guys—John Hinchey, our incredible arranger and trombonist, I think—suggested we try a ‘second-line’ groove for the bridge, and it totally worked! I love that part. I also remember how much fun it was to sing this song; I cracked myself up more than once during that vocal session.”
