No musician is more recognizable or synonymous with the prog music cruise scene than Mike Portnoy. Each year he has been on the ship he has done something unexpected and entertaining from the Chris Squire tribute to his 50th birthday bash with the debut of Mike Portnoy’s Shatter Fortress, to the premiere of Sons of Apollo. This year he is listed as simply Mike Portnoy. It is still unknown as to who he will be performing with or what they will play, but there is no doubt it will be amazing. Also, catch Portnoy will be performing with the Neal Morse Band as well. The man will be as busy as ever.
