Earlier this year Dave Kerzner announced his new project In Continuum, an all-star group featuring Marco Minnemann, Randy McStine, former Bad Dreams singer Gabriel Agudo, and his Sound of Contact bandmate Matt Dorsey. The band are now announcing their debut album will be titled Acceleration Theory and will be released later this year on a date still to be confirmed. The album also features guest appearances from drummer Nick D’Virgilio, guitarist John Wesley and vocalist Jon Davison.
Acceleration Theory is a concept album containing material that Kerzner had originally envisioned for the second Sound Of Contact album, which was shelved following the departures of Simon Collins and Kelly Nordstrom. A trailer for the new album which Kerzner describes as an “interstellar love story” can be seen below.
In Continuum has set a few dates for the band where they will play tracks from the new album as well as some Sound of Contact tracks.
