Jolly – Progressive Nation at Sea Featured Band #7

Jolly are a 4-piece band from New York that brings together styles ranging from Tool and Radiohead to Tears For fears and Faith No More.  Forming in 2006, the band has released one EP, and 3 full-length albums including the critically acclaimed “The Audio Guide to Happiness, Parts 1 and 2.”  Released in 2013, Part 2, showcased their true eclectic nature including the first single, the heavy “Firewell” and the haunting ballad, “As Seen on Tape.”

Jolly are also known for their incredible videos such as the stop-animation “Lucky” which even featured a cameo from Mike Portnoy who invited Jolly to open for his bands Flying Colors and The Winery Dogs.
