Jeff Lynne’s ELO is embarking on its first North American tour since 1981 in addition to expanding his European tour in 2018. Next summer’s dates follow the band’s September 2016 run of three West Coast shows at L.A.’s Hollywood Bowl and two in New York at Radio City Music Hall.
As of now, Lynne and the band will play a total of 10 shows, with the trek launching on August 2nd in Oakland, California and wrapping on August 24th in Philadelphia. Along the way, the tour will hit L.A.; Denver; Houston; Dallas; Rosemont, Illinois; Detroit; Toronto; and New York City. Following the US tour, the show will return to Europe for a number of shows.
Jeff Lynne said in a statement posted on his official website: “Our audiences are amazing. It’s like they’re in the group. We can’t wait to play for them again.”
